Considerations for selecting a recliner
When online shopping for the perfect recliner, there are certain things that need consideration. These are: Style, Fit, Fabric

There are a lot of recliners available to consumers today. The choices seem endless; however, here are some ways to narrow the field down. Ask yourself these questions:
What does the room look like where the recliner will be kept?
Will it blend with my living room set?
Who will be using the recliner the most?
How much space do I have?

Recliner designs
The three styles of recliners that you'll find are the 2-position recliner, the rocker recliner/wall-saver recliner and the push-back recliner. All of these have their advantages, depending on how you answered those questions.

Two-position recliner
The 2-position recliner has, you guessed it, two positions: upright or reclining fully. With this recliner, you must release the footrest to recline completely. They are cheaper than other styles but are limited in colors, fabrics and styles. This recliner is best placed where it will have plenty of room to recline without knocking into something.

Rocker recliner
The rocker recliner, also known as the wall-saver recliner, is the most popular type of recliner. You will be able to sit in a wide range of reclining angles, and you can place these chairs a little closer to walls, which makes them perfect for small spaces.

Push-back recliners
The push-back recliner, or flex-back recliner, usually costs a bit more, but it is a very stylish piece of living room furniture, often available in leather, which has no difficulty fitting into modern homes. The name of this recliner says it all; you have to push back into the back of the recliner to recline. The only part of this chair that reclines is the back, so using an ottoman is a fantastic way to find maximum comfort.

Finding a recliner with the right fit
The way you fit into your recliner will determine its comfort. If you are tall, look for a larger recliner, but remember that if other people use this recliner, they also need to be able to sit in it comfortably. Another fit area you need to consider is the seat width. Find a nice seat depth and width that will provide ample room and comfort. After all, a recliner is all about comfort.

Luxurious leather
You can find most recliners in leather and leather-match, which is a leather and vinyl combination. The leather will be on the seat, back and arms with a matching vinyl covering the sides and back of the chair. All-leather chairs are more expensive but will match more living room sets and décor.

Fabric options
Microfiber is a popular material for recliners. It is durable and stain resistant. Will your kids use the recliner? Will the recliner see a lot of game action and Buffalo wings? Microfiber is an affordable alternative to leather.
